![]() This makes for ridiculous matches in which teams are constantly alternating between feeding their own prisoner, slaying enemies, and trying to steal the other team's royalty. Cramming cake into the mouth of your princess makes her fatter and subsequently more difficult to steal. ![]() There are two capture-the-flag match types in which you must steal the princess from your opponent's stronghold, and these serve as the most chaotic and entertaining portions of the game. Matches can be as big as eight versus eight and as small as one versus one, with blundering bots filling out teams when there aren't enough players to go around. Game of the Year, I think so.Fistful of Cake is a team-based competition that pits two willing armies of the king's men against each other. If you like insane amounts of violence, good stargegy, team work, and fucking cute visuals then Fat Princess is 100% for you, if you don't like violence you can turn that off of course. You don't see many people nail their first game they ever made. Pretty much every element of this game is solid and I have major respect for Titan Studios for that. I've gotten over a 1000 points just cutting trees and getting ore. I personally like playing the worker, I enjoy just getting material to upgrade the classes to help out the people who fight. For example, the warrior is strong but slow, the worker can gain materials but is weak, ranger can do damage but it has odd recharge times. The game has five different classes all with different strengths and weaknesses. Though probably the biggest thing about Fat Princess is the classes. That's basically the only thing with the teams, there isn't any special features for either team, though that would be a cool feature. The game splits up into two teams with 16 on each side, and bots filling in places where people aren't. When you hit the select button you pull up a map that shows you where everyone's at. It's basically a tutorial on how to play the game. Legend Of The Fat Princess- This is the story mode of Fat Princess.Gladiate- You play as an of the classes and you try to murder as many enemies before you die.I didn't get a lot of time with this one. Invasion- In this mode teams try to capture the most outposts. Each team gets a set number of lives and then they can go at it. Team Deathmatch- This is what it says. And I just don't have the time to do it that long. What I didn't like is that those can take forever. Snatch 'n Grab- This one I didn't like, it's like Rescue the Princess but you have to do that three times.I had some go a hour with no one getting to the princess. This requires a good amount of strategy, people have to work together to get the princess. Both teams try to capture the others princess. Rescue the Princess- It's a unique version of capture the flag. You get a good amount of other things to play, you have: Fat Princess is what I would like to call a collection of mini games. I played most of the game with the servers being crap but just recently got into playing with the new patch installed. ![]() Lag was way down and games went more smoothly. A couple of weeks after Probably my favorite map it's release Titan put out a patch to fix that problem and I could tell a big difference. In the early days of playing it you couldn't get into a game until around the third try. When I did get the chance it was when the servers were not great, but they were OK. Though when I did look it up I found it was on the PS3, from that moment on I was determined to play this game. When I first looked at this game I thought it was a Wii game, I'm serious, the bright colorful levels and cute characters screamed Nintendo. Fat Princess was developed by Titan Studio s, Fat Princess was their first game and they made a hell of a first impression. What I could never have suspect was to find such a fantastic game full of violence and strategy. When I first set eyes on it in Giantbomb's QL of it I knew I had to play this game, and I finally have. Blood! I'll come out and say it, Fat Princess was the reason I got my PS3.
